the school threw away my application portfolio!
do you know how long i spent on that?! over a month of continuous work-it wasn't any portfolio it was basically a huge sketchbook filled like a scrapbook/story! and they told me they just threw it away-i have been emailing them the past couple months trying to get ahold of it to pick up! :[[[

i got this adorable vintage dress from a shop called vintroville in hackney last sunday for 20 pounds- i haven't done any shopping here yet besides this, can you believe it!

marzipan from a cute lil cafe by my school-i've never really had it before but i just thought it was so pretty i had to try it!

bannana bread beer fooool! From a place in Camden called the diner,the name was just askin for me to try it and yes it actually did taste a bit like bannana bread-awesome!

graphic design/communication

I LOVE school already! The first week of classes is done with and each week for the first 4 weeks is different. We are divided into groups of about 30 students each (there are over 600 students in the foundations course at St. Martins!) and this week my group started with graphic design/communications. Then next week we will be doing fine arts, and the next 3-d sculpture/media, and the next fashion! This is a photo of what we worked on today in partners- find a place around the school and find wording to fit in the spot. My partner charlie and I were both inspired by the moldy and dirty areas-so we made dripping letters dunked in coffee, cant wait to do more on my own!

I've got the fever!

Last night I went to a fever ray show at the O2 in Brixton with Lizzy who i haven't seen since san francisco- it was a much awaited meet and we had a blast! I met one of her fashion teachers and two of her friends as well who seemed really nice, rode the tube for the first time!

Back to school, back to school, to prove to daddy i'm no fool!
i find it funny how everyone looks each other up and down on the first day, like high school- you can tell when people are judging each other based on what their wearing- loosen up fashion is supposed to be fun!

LONDON BABY

I've been here for 3 days, and already am loving it here. Besides, I arrived on September 5th, at 11:25, and am on the 5th floor, and my school is at the 5th building, now thats off to a lucky start!
