Textiles Group Project
This was part of our 1 day introduction to fashion textiles-we got into groups of 5 in the afternoon to make a collaborative peice in about an hour, combining our ideas from our collages we did in the morning which were taken from our observational drawings of white shirts on hangers. We each did a section or the shirt, then put them all together at the end.

I have been feeling so tired and unorganized this week, I need to get caught up with myself, there is so much going on always it overwhelms me a little i almost feel as if i'm spending so much time looking up all the fun things and getting excited about them that it makes me so tired that i feel like i've already gone! but no, i will not let the whole year go by like this..starting tommorow i am going to try and fill every day with as much fun and art and inspiration as possible..if someone doesn't want to do somethnig with me than i shall go by myself! life is to short to sit around in my boring room!

Mushrooms and Pen Lids
This week I started Graphic Deisign as one of my two chosen pathways. I was a bit skeptical at first if i had made the right desicion by chosing this pathway over jewelry design or fine art, but so far i am really enjoying it and excited about all the possibilities it allows. The first day was illustration, and we were meant to look at pen lids as well as a mushroom-this is to make us really look at the object, and had to do 16 drawings of each, a minute for each one.
After, we have to do 64 drawings, 32 derived from the pen lids, 32 from the mushroom-15 seconds for each one, but combining, enlarging, rotating, or repeating bits from our 1st set of drawings as we drew.
This next set is 32 drawings from the 64-this time being more selective of which drawings we worked with by combining the mushroom and pen sketches with 1 minute for each.
here are a few of the 32 close up that i looked at more for the next set.
this next set is 16-we could pick our own pace for these, but they had to be even more choosy, this time starting out much smaller since we had more space, this meant adding and refining more to each drawing. These were about 5-10 minutes for each.
As you can see, they start to resemble artices of clothing, most people turned them into more abstract patterns or illustrations but i couldn't help myself..
Now, we are supposed to do 2 more sets- a set of 8, and then a final set of 4 by the end of next week. These will be much more refined than the 16, each set taking longer and with more detail, etc. I cant wait to see the finished result, this was a very tiring day but i also really enjoyed it.

V&A
squirrel man
i was outside in this park area drawing, and this man on the bench kept making kissing sounds and i kept thinking, "what the hell" but then as i was watching him, a squirel kept coming up to him and the man would drop a nut to the squirel. he did this for about 5 minutes, and then i started talking to him he told me he goes there everyday! how cool is that. i wanna talk to animals. Kinda like eliza thornberry.
